My name is Betty Deemer and I am a 2021 graduate of Kent State University’s Master of Science in User Experience Design. The focus of the program concentrates on applying a solid understanding of usability, content strategy, information architecture, and user research. The experience was excellent and skills learned are proving very useful.
Prior to this, I graduated from a 5-year program (two year foundation | three year major) at the Cleveland Institute of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Graphic Design and coursework in Illustration and Fiber Design. This structured program has given me a solid foundation to construct a very successful and award-winning career in Graphic Design. The coursework in Illustration and Fiber Design have contributed to patterning development and enhancement of both UXD and Graphic Design skills.
