About Me . . .

Hello and Welcome!

If you’ve found this site, you’ve probably been directed here either by my resume or another link — or perhaps you’ve stumbled upon the site by chance, either way, again, Welcome! and below is a bit about me:

My name is Betty Deemer and I am a 2021 graduate of Kent State University’s Master of Science in User Experience Design. The focus of the program concentrates on applying a solid understanding of usability, content strategy, information architecture, and user research. The experience was excellent and skills learned are proving very useful.

Prior to this, I graduated from a 5-year program (two year foundation | three year major) at the Cleveland Institute of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Graphic Design and with coursework in both Illustration and Fiber Design. The CiA structured program has given me a solid foundation to construct a very successful and award-winning career in Graphic Design. The coursework in Fiber Design has contributed to patterning development in UXD and both the Illustration and Fiber Design have contributed to an excellence in Graphic Design skills.

I currently have a studio in my home where I concentrate on graphic design (Mac-based), writing, illustration, painting, and fiber work,

Thanks for checking out my site.
